Adrian Ossenkop is a lighting designer based in Omaha, Nebraska, and a junior at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he studies theatre with a focus in lighting design.

He’s interested in theatre that invites collaboration, challenges norms, and engages directly with audiences. Adrian has attended the United States Institute of Technology Conference as a conference assistant in 2024 and 2025. He is a 2026 USITT Student Ambassador.

His awards include the UNO Theatre Rookie of the Year award and an Outstanding Achievement in Design, Academic Achievement, and Contributions to UNO Theatre award.

Adrian is President of UNO Students in Theatre, Art, Growth, and Engagement (STAGE), which offers professional growth opportunities, hands-on workshops, and community engagement initiatives to students.

In addition to his work in theatre, he is a MavMentor at UNO and manages communications for Durango’s Advancement and Support Hub / Maverick Food Pantry, supporting campus initiatives that focus on food access and holistic student wellbeing.
